My American Idol XV Audition Experience Part 4
After we were all done singing he asked us all to take a step forward. He did say that we all have great voices but he did not let any of us pass. I WAS BEWILDERED BECAUSE THE GIRL NEXT TO ME WAS AMAZING. Well that was that, no use complaining. I tried my best! We walked down the lane, where most people can see if you got through or not and I had my wristband cut. We were then lead to a back way to outside up the stairs and out the door.I got out around 5pm. There I waited and called my mom and sister to come get me, and I waited there. Seeing other contestants come out the door as well. The girl that I saw who did amazing I saw crying on her boyfriends shoulder. I know that she worked hard and wanted it badly that's why she was crying. I felt sad too and wanted it badly as her but I wasn't going to cry about it. Afterwards my Mom and sister were there to cheer me up and we headed back to the hotel to rest and eat a lot since I was starving. We also slept alot too since we were knocked out from the day and later on headed to eat at the Ruby Tuesday's nearby. Delicious food and dessert!!! When we got back to the hotel I updated what happened on my instagram and posted it to youtube as well. The next day we headed home, me and my sister were in the back watching Avatar: The last airbender over again. We then stopped at pitpost where we ordered fried chicken, mashed potatoes, yup its sorta like Popeyes. And I got a Caramel Macchiato from starbucks. We walked around since my mom was working on papers for her work. My mom knew that it was blazing hot in our house since we can't afford to fix the airconditiong. And all we got are the few fans and taking baths to keep cool. So she decided to take us to the Asian store with her to buy ingredients for food. She was going to make the soup that my sister and I both love. Chicken sabow!!! I also got Aloe Vera, Green tea and red bean milky ice bar, and the drink Milo because I love those. And also curry and beef buns. And Mango JUICE!!! I forgot what eles we got but yeah I love going there to buy food, and I love eating chicken feet too, adobo flavored! When we got home it was sort of late since we didnt want to get home too soon but we were tired and exhausted. It was really hard to sleep last night because of the thunder and lightning here in nj so I probably slept around 4am i think. Now I'm cleaning up our messy house and preparing things to sell thins Sunday in Englishtown with my mom and sister. And watching Kdramas and telesryes and animes as usual hehe..

While it was almost our groups turn to go, we all wished each other good luck and break a leg. I was complimented nicely too so it made my day. For me, even if I didn't make it or not, as long as I look good doing it I was fine. While we were in line I was constanlty going to my phone to get the starting pitch for my song. While we were waiting something interesting (awkward) happened. Apparently there was a kid that dressed up half naked/ wearing shiny silver and black then suddenly started performing in front of other auditioners and singing to the audience as well. He just left his booth while singing and I'm pretty sure he prepared to do that too. I wasn't shocked that they sent him to Clay Aiken to think it over, they need the weirdos on the show too. Well, when it was finally our turn to step up the judge apologizes and leaves us waiting there, our voices ready to get it over with and freezing in the auditorium. He had to get more papers and golden ticket passes as well. But HE TOOK HIS PRECIOUS TIME AND LEFT US THERE WAITING FOR MORE THAN 10 MINUTES. WE WERE ALL UPSET. When he got back he asked us to bring up our papers that we got at the entrance thats supposed to tell. him about oursleves. I noticed while the others were singing he didn't pay much attention or even bother to read their papers. When it came to my turn I stated my name and the song I was singing. However, I noticed while I was singing he didn't even bother to read my biography or my interests either. He didn't even bother to read the part where i have connections with BOBBI VALLI, JT CARTER, STARLENA YOUNG, JP (KOOL AND THE GANG), OR EVEN THE FACT THAT MY DAD IS THE DRUMMER OF YOUNG AND COMPANY AND WAS IN THE BRUNSWICK RECORDS. HE DIDN"T EVEN LOOK THROUGH MY HOBBIES OR EVEN BOTHER CHECKING OTHER FUN FACTS ABOUT ME. ITS LIKE HE DIDNT GIVE A CRAP. I BET THAT JUDGE CANT EVEN SING xD
HE DIDNT PAY ATTENTION TO MY BIG AWARDS AND ACCOMPLISHMENTS, NEITHER THAT I'M A SPECIAL CASE. I HAVE ADVICE FOR THE JUDGES, IF YOU"RE GOING TO CHOOSE THE NEXT IDOL AT LEAST LOOK AT THE PAPER THEY SO NICELY WROTE ABOUT THEMSELVES FOR YOU. I FEEL BAD FOR ALL OF US WHO AUDITIONED AND THEY DONT EVEN CARE ENOUGH TO LOOK THROUGH YOUR PAPERS. YOU COULD"VE TURNED DOWN A VERY IMPORTANT PERSON THAT COULD BRING YOU MANY VIEWERS!!!

We entered the huge auditorium, filled with thousands of us in there, below you could spot the audition booths. All booths are out of the open so everyone can see you singing to the judges, and people in the other booth can hear you as well. After everyone was in the auditorium they announced how everyone would go. So what happened was they explained how they will go in a rotation wise manner. One side to the other. And have people called down by rows. So basically our row was on the opposite side of the people who were going first, which made us the 3rd to 4th rows that was near last. First you would go to the photo booth on the side to get your picture taken. Then the other booths will have four contestants perform for the judges or judge, if you get a gold ticket you go to the winners room and if you didn't make it you get cut and sent out the door. However, if the judge has trouble deciding what to do, he'll send you to booth 8th where Clay Aiken will see whether to put you through or not. Yes Clay Aiken was there and gave a speech, but honeslty he's not as handsome as he used to be. What I didn't like while we were there was that they blasted the Aircon in there to the point I had a slight fever. I really get sick easily especially when my ears are exposed to really cold weather. My mom had to get me tea so my throat was soothed from the coldness of the arena and I also had to eat lots of oranges while waiting since my throat was clogging up. They do realize its a singing competition right? WHAT ARE THEY TRYING TO DO? GET THE CONTESTANTS SICK. When it was our rows turn to go down to the booths it was 4pm. I went down, got my picture taken and was lined up with great singers as well. The song I chose to do was "No One" by Alicia Keys. I was hoping that the booth we would be put into was the one with the lady and the cool hat and the guy next to her but NO. THEY HAD TO PUT US WITH A JUDGE THAT WAS BY HIMSELF. AND NO ONE TO CONCILE WITH HIM ON AT LEAST PUTTING ONE OF US THROUGH. THIS JUDGE WAS BY HIMSELF TO JUDGE US. Another thing I disliked about this whole process was that is was very DISORGANIZED.
My American Idol XV Audition Experience Part 1
Hey guys!!! I know it took a while so here it goes. My American Idol Audition Experience. Now before you go into this you have to think it through real hard knowing what you're getting yourself into. If you're a hundred percent you want to try out for something then hey go for it! The first thing you do is go their website americanidol.com where you can pick from various auditions. You can go after the AmericanIdol buses, do an online audition, or go to the Live Venues shown. The live venue I went to was in Philadelphia, PA on August 2nd Liacouras Center. Before going there make sure you have good songs prepared, look presentable, and have your forms with you (release form). Also, medical/ guardianship form too if you're a minor. You will also have to have an ID on you so they know your age. I was already prepared with these things a few months ago when I found out. A few days before we left we packed a few things up, and the day we were leaving we finished packing up then left for the Microtel in Philadelphia,PA where we got around 9pm Saturday night. I saw so many different cars form different states there, most likely to try out for Idol as well. When my mom got in to check into our hotel room, they said we didn't reserve which made my Mom upset since she clearly paid for a room beforehand. Later on, they cleared up that they spelled and misheard her last name and fixed the problem. Then we were able to go into the hotel. We were really hungry when we got there, so we ordered delivery from our hotel room. The hotel looked a little rundown but we had the basic necessities. Afterwards we slept around 12:30pm and woke up around 4am to get beautified. At around 5:30am we had free breakfast at the hotel where we met the nice desk manager who is Indian. He complimented me and my sister for our very long hair (yes our hair is real and long, no extensions whatsoever). He was very nice and said to keep it like that because hair is a girls asset and it makes her look beautiful and younger. When he found out that I was trying out for American Idol, he said he was rooting for me and also his fellow workers as well wished me good luck! We left asap and drowve to the Liacouras Center which was about 10 minutes or so from where we were staying. When we got there the line was really really long. Longer than the line auditions for The Voice! Many people were already in front of the line and probably came earlier than 4am so they could be in front to register. So there we were in the back of the line, then more people came to fill the back waiting to get into one building. The line was moving at a moderate pace but it was hard standing up for so long. Luckily they split the line in half, so we got to enter through other doors into the building, around that time it was like around 8 something. They set up tables and make you go up 2 people each table where you get more papers to sign and wristbands, your family is also given wristbands and are permitted to go in the building. Also seat tickets are given as well. Afterwards you enter the building where they have people check your bags then do security scan check on you. Then you are led into the building where you are free to take an American Idol XV gif. It is optional and of course I did one, there was no music or anything that made it speical so I spruced it up on my meipai later on. Of course they have food there, but you have to buy it while you wait. Lots of auditioners were everywhere in the hall and heard throughtou practicing in the halls and even the bathrooms.
