Bible verse saturday (I forgot to post yesterday)

10 Though my father and mother forsake me, the LORD will receive me.
~Psalm 27:10

Pictures from the Apollo Theater (almost auditions)

I'll try and make this audition experience story short as possible to explain. I woke up early, got there by the time they said to be. Not as long a line as The Voice or American Idol. Line moved really slow. Stood outside 3 hours in the cold. Man with camera and mic came to ask "real singers" in line to raise their hand to sing in front of the camera. I raised my hand to tty, he ignored me. The girl behind me was nice and said it was rude that he did that and not to judge a book by its cover meaning "me." Judging me how I looked. We were almost at the entrance to get in the door for auditions and they cut off the line, asking us to go home. So I never even got a chance to audition, water money and gas. If you don't like disorganized and judgemental people (and its Harlem so they probably will judge you.) Disorganized, judgemental, and rude. Making all the rest of the talents wait in line in the cold to be told that they cut us off. Don't go here for Amateur Night auditions!
