My Mom doesn't care how I feel (study abroad?)

Hey guys, it's me. So I'm having problems with wanting to go study in Philippines. I told my mom I don't want to go alone, and that I wanted a friend or a buddy to go with me. Or even a cousin I know in philippines to attend with me. But she didn't care when I said that. She was like "Yeah whatever." She doesn't care about me at all!
